I am Heather, a writer, visual artist, and music score and soundtrack creator. I created the photo mixed tapes project and website, which features short-form creations that lovingly blend original still and motion imagery with original music scores or curated music playlists. I also create music films, short narratives, and conceptual films inspired by a specific lyrical song. I earned a BA with Honors in Liberal Arts/Writing from The New School in May 2026. I’m currently pursuing an MA in Media Studies at Parsons, NYC, expected in May 2028. I thrive most among trees, dogs, intellectually stimulating and funny people, and in collaboration with fellow artists.

All of the imagery and music on this site are my original creations. The imagery was captured on Nikon film and digital cameras and edited using Lightroom, Final Cut, and OneShot. The music was composed in GarageBand. ©Heather Petropoulos
